Monday IINspiration — Are You Waiting for the Storm to Pass… or Preparing to Thrive in It?

Let me start with a simple question:
Why do so many companies wait for things to get better… before they start improving?
It’s a paradox I encounter everywhere.
When the market becomes difficult, when targets aren’t reached, when clients hesitate, when pressure rises, when the future feels uncertain…
Companies stop investing in exactly what would help them adapt, evolve, and perform.
It’s the corporate equivalent of saying:
“I’ll take care of my health when my blood analysis looks better.”
Imagine the scene.
You go to the doctor. Your results are not great. He tells you to exercise more, walk daily, eat better, sleep better, reduce stress — you know, the basics of human performance.
And you answer:
“No, no… I’ll invest in my health and well-being after my results improve.”
Absurd, right? Yet this is exactly the logic guiding many strategic decisions today.
The Cost of Being Reactive
During Covid, the entire world was shocked that our governments and health systems were not ready, despite years of warnings from scientists. Everyone asked the same question:
“How could we be so unprepared?”
We reacted instead of preparing. We tried to extinguish fires instead of reinforcing the structure. We ran after the crisis instead of staying ahead of it.
Now imagine the opposite scenario.
Imagine systems designed with foresight. Imagine leaders trained for resilience. Imagine teams empowered, aligned, and confident before the crisis hits. Imagine organizations that anticipate instead of panicking.
The impact would have been radically different.
And this lesson applies directly to your company — today.

Performance Doesn’t Come From Hope — It Comes From Preparation
Uncertain markets. New government regulations. Digital acceleration. Changing client expectations. Transformation of services.
These challenges will not wait. So why should you?
Imagine your teams feeling ready, not overwhelmed. Grounded, not reactive. Strong, not fragmented. Aligned, not exhausted.
Imagine entering a difficult quarter with a team that has:
clarity
confidence
energy
trust
ownership
and… Intention.
This is how you navigate storms. Not by waiting for the sun — by preparing your boat.
No, I Don’t Have a Magic Wand — I Have Something Better
I say it often:
I don’t work with magic. I work with Intention.
Intention is the multiplier of all your resources.
Beyond skills, expertise, processes, and KPIs, what truly drives performance is:
the intention you bring to each action
the intention behind how you show up for your team
the intention behind your communication
the intention you place in collaboration
the intention you carry when facing clients or uncertainty
Intention is how you use your skills, energy, and expertise. It’s the difference between “doing” and “leading.” Between surviving and evolving. Between a team and a force.
Intention Is What Transforms a Group Into One Strength
It’s what allows your team to:
collaborate instead of compete
innovate instead of freeze
support instead of blame
adapt instead of resist
perform instead of endure
stay united instead of scattered
Intention is the invisible current that makes a team ONE strength, capable of riding the tsunami of your market instead of drowning in it.
So this week, I invite you — and your leaders — to reflect:
👉 Are we waiting for the “blood analysis” to get better?
👉 Or are we finally ready to invest in who we want to become as a team, as a culture, as a company?
Because performance is not created by chance. It’s built with Intention.
With Intention
